  15. Where I grew up, instead of trick-or-treating, we trunk-or-treat. A whole bunch of families at my church pull up in the parking lot, open their trunks, dress up, and decorate their cars. Then the kids go from car to car to get candy. It's really fun and less risky, traffic-wise. I'm too old, of course, but I like to go to hang out. (And the other adults take pity on me and give me candy anyways.)

  19. My husband takes our son trick-or-treating and I stay home to hand out candy. Since we get very few trick-or-treaters, this means I watch scary movies and eat the Almond Joys!
