Teaser Tuesdays

Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
  • Grab your current read
  • Open to a random page
  • Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
  • BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
  • Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser for this week... probably not a shocker, comes from:

Spy Glass by Maria V. Snyder

"Hmm... My napkin folding skills are renowned. I can make a swan in seconds."

Yes, yes those are my two sentences XD It's more amusing when you know they're uttered by Valek... so long as you know who Valek is... but seeing as how this is the third book in the series... I really didn't want to give away too much, and I think napkin folding is pretty vague ;)

    (I occasionally fold napkins too . . . just into cranes instead. :D)
