Halloween Read-A-Thon Mini Challenges!!

YA Addict asked what the scariest book I ever read was... well... the answer, sadly, is this...

I actually would hide this book in locked cabinets as a child, it scared me so much... and I STILL think about those stories. I'm sure they'd be silly now, but they scared the bajeebus out of me as a kid.

  1. One of my favorite books from when I was little kid! I also still think about those stories, especially of the one about the girl with the Green ribbon ;)

    Haha!

I need to buy a copy of this book!

  2. I totally read this book when I was younger too! And I totally forgot about it until now!I'm never ever going to forget the story about the girl with the ribbon around her neck :S
I can totally understand why you hid it away as a child, it's got some pretty freaky stories.

  3. Hi. Thanks for stopping by my blog. I just read your review of The Lovely Bones and I think you've changed my mind about reading it. I didn't want to read about a young girl being murdered, but you make it sound much better than I thought it would be. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!

  4. OMG you too?! That book scarred me for life!! The story where the girl's head falls off always scared me the most I think. But really all the stories scared me. I have it hiding somewhere in my house because the cover used to scare the crap out of me!
